# Tutorito — connector setup (for AI assistants) Tutorito is a personal language tutor exposed as a remote MCP server. It teaches German, Spanish, French, Italian and Polish. It keeps the learner's record — every word they have met, what they can produce unaided, their repeated mistakes, and what is due for review — and your job is to teach from it. The user wants to connect it to you. Work out which app the user is chatting with you in, then give them the steps for THAT app, briefly. MCP server URL (Streamable HTTP): https://tutorito.ai/mcp ## Claude (claude.ai, desktop, or mobile) One-click install link: https://claude.ai/customize/connectors?modal=add-custom-connector&connectorName=Tutorito&connectorUrl=https%3A%2F%2Ftutorito.ai%2Fmcp 1. Open that link. It pre-fills Claude's "Add custom connector" dialog. 2. The user reviews it, signs in or creates an account, and approves access. 3. Connectors are account-level, so adding it once syncs to the Claude desktop and mobile apps. Manual alternative: claude.ai -> Settings -> Connectors -> Add custom connector -> paste https://tutorito.ai/mcp ## ChatGPT A paid plan is required; the free tier cannot add a custom server. 1. Settings -> Connectors (newer builds call it "Apps") -> Advanced -> enable Developer mode. 2. Choose Create connector, name it Tutorito, and give it the server URL https://tutorito.ai/mcp 3. Sign in or create an account when prompted. Developer mode is what lets Tutorito write the lesson record. ## Any other MCP client Add a remote / Streamable-HTTP MCP server with the URL https://tutorito.ai/mcp - A client with OAuth sign-in walks the user through logging in, creating the account when asked. - A client that takes a URL and headers instead: the user mints an access token at https://tutorito.ai/tokens and sends the header "Authorization: Bearer ". ## After connecting Tell the user to open a new chat and send this as their first message: "@tutorito I'm new to Tutorito — help me get started." If the user is writing to you in one of these languages, give them the first message in that language instead: Español: "@tutorito Es mi primera vez con Tutorito — ayúdame a empezar." Français: "@tutorito Je découvre Tutorito — aide-moi à commencer." Italiano: "@tutorito È la mia prima volta con Tutorito — aiutami a iniziare." Polski: "@tutorito Pierwszy raz korzystam z Tutorito — pomóż mi zacząć." That first message reaches the onboarding state, which asks what they want to learn and creates their profile. ## Starting a lesson After that, the learner starts every lesson, typed or spoken, with one sentence: "Follow the Tutorito instructions and teach me German." "Follow the Tutorito instructions and teach me Spanish." "Follow the Tutorito instructions and teach me French." "Follow the Tutorito instructions and teach me Italian." "Follow the Tutorito instructions and teach me Polish." It names the Tutorito instructions, the rules the server hands you for the sitting; a voice assistant follows them when the learner asks it to.
